I just had to reach out to customer service recently, it left a good impression. They got back to me quickly and actually answered my question instead of sending some generic copy-paste reply. Maybe I’m judging them a bit based on this latest interaction, but it was nice dealing with someone who just fixed the issue without turning it into a whole hassle.
"Prices feel a little hit or miss"
I get the feeling some items are priced fairly, but others just seem higher than what I’ve seen at similar shops. The selection is solid, so I still like browsing here, but my gut says the deals could definitely be better

"I ended up sending the boots back, ..."
I ended up sending the boots back — they just weren’t quite right for me, though the return itself was really simple. I was expecting it to be a whole thing, but nope, no hassle at all. Dropped them off, and then quickly the refund showed up, which was a nice surprise. So yeah, didn’t keep the boots, but the return process was smooth.
"Warranty process was painless"
I had a problem come up with my reel and wasn’t really looking forward to dealing with the warranty side of things, because that can sometimes turn into a whole back-and-forth mess. But Bass Pro made it easy. They got the repair started without giving me a hard time or making me jump through a bunch of hoops. It did take a little while to get everything finished, but the process itself stayed simple, and they kept things moving. In the end, I got my reel back and it’s working well again, so I’m happy with how it all turned out

"Pickup was fine... just a little slow"
My order was ready when I got there, which was nice! The only downside was the pickup line moved slowly, so I ended up waiting a bit longer than expected

"Showed up fast"
Ordered some gear on Monday and it was sitting on my porch by Wednesday. Nice. Everything arrived in good shape, the box wasn’t beat up, and there were no issues at all. happy with the whole thing. Easy
"Actually had what I needed"
I checked Bass Pro’s site for some fishing line and a tackle box after my local store was out, and umm, I was just hoping the stock info was accurate. Turns out it was, which was a nice surprise.
Ordering was easy and I didn’t have to click around forever trying to find what I needed. My stuff showed up quick enough too, so overall I’m happy with the experience

"Delivery showed up right when they said it would"
I ordered some fishing gear and, the whole delivery went about as smoothly as I could have hoped. They gave me a specific day it was supposed to arrive, and it actually showed up that day, which I always appreciate because that doesn’t happen everywhere. The box was in good shape when it got here, nothing looked beat up or crushed, and everything I ordered was inside. No missing items, no weird delays, no having to follow up with anybody. It was just an easy, straightforward delivery experience, and I’m happy with how it all went.

"Got my order right the first time"
I ordered a few fishing lures and a hoodie from basspro.com, and everything showed up exactly how I chose it. The sizes, colors, and quantities were all right, which isn’t always the case when I order from some other outdoor retailers.
The box was packed well enough, nothing was damaged, and there weren’t any random substitutions or missing items. I’ve had competitors mess up simple orders before, so it was nice to open the package and not have to deal with customer service.
It was a straightforward order, but that’s kind of the point. Bass Pro got it right the first time, and I’d definitely feel comfortable ordering from them again

"Super easy to shop around"
I had a good experience using Basspro.com. It was easy to find the fishing gear I was looking for, and the filters actually made things quicker instead of getting in the way. Checkout was straightforward too, with no confusing steps or slow-loading pages. I also liked that my cart was still saved when I came back later. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re shopping for outdoor or fishing stuff online.

"Decent trip, but nothing to brag about"
Stopped by Bass Pro to pick up some fishing line and take a look at boots. The store was clean and there was plenty to browse, but it took longer than it should’ve to find someone who could help. Once I finally did, the guy was friendly and knew what he was doing, so that helped. Checkout was a little slow too. Overall, it was fine, just not one of those “amazing customer experience” things companies like to brag about. I’d go back if I needed something, but I wouldn’t make a special trip

"Feels sturdy after a few weekends out"
I picked up this fishing reel and the first thing I noticed was that it didn’t feel cheap at all. It has a solid weight to it and everything felt put together well right out of the box. I’ve taken it out a few weekends now, and it’s still running smooth with no issues so far. Based on using it, I’m happy with the quality.
